Reply:Simple. They stole the Jesus from the Jews!
Reply:The name Jesus is an anglicized form of the Latin Iesus, which itself is derived from the Greek name Iesous. Iesous was the Greek transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua, which itself was the later Aramaic form of the Hebrew name Yehoshua.
Reply:Maybe because Jesus is God!

It's like asking why there is no person called Hitler living in Germany today. Let me tell you a fact. There were about 15-20 Hitlers registered in the New York Phone Book before World War II. After the World War, there were none!
Reply:"Etymology: Late Latin, from Greek IEsous, from Hebrew YEshua'"

"Yeshua is a Hebrew name which has been transliterated into Greek as Iesous (IhsouV: pronounced "ee-ay-SUS"). The English "Jesus" comes from the Latin transliteration of the Greek name into the Latin Iesus. Now Greek has no "y" sound, but the Latin "i" is both an "i" and a "j" (i.e., it can have a consonantal force in front of other vowels), the latter of which is properly pronounced like the English "y" (which explains the German Jesu, "YAY-su")That is why we spell Jesus as we do, taking it straight from Latin, but we pronounce the name with a soft "j" sound because that is what we do in English with the consonantal "j"."
Reply:There were Jews with the name Yeshua, they just weren't necessarily mentioned in the Bible. That's like asking why there weren't any other Jews called Matthew. It has nothing to do with Matthew being special or not Jewish, it's just not his name and no others by that name were mentioned.
Reply:Actually, his actual name as used at the name was Yeshuah, but this is not a common name either. judaism does not accept that the Living word displaces the written law, so it rejects the messiahship of the Christ. have a nice day.
Reply:Jews are separate sect.Jesus is not their God/Prophet.why they should call?
Reply:Jesus was a Jew, but the name Jesus is not Jewish or Hebrew. It is Greek. It is the Greek translation of Joshua.
Reply:Jesus is actually the Greek version of the Hebrew Name Joshua or Yeshua.
Reply:no clue mate, thanks for 2 points anyways !!
Reply:Jesus is the son of God you first need to read your Bible and then you will know what he was who he was and so be it. any question's today on Christians
Reply:why are there no rappers named rapper
Reply:I don't know if Spanish people have any Jew in them but I have heard of them being named Jesus but I believe they pronounce it Heysuse.
Reply:I have never known any Jews to be name Jesus expect the person in the new testament in the xian bible.but more more correct translation of the name is Jesuha[similar to Jehudah]
