This document is also blessed by a Rabbi.

What's the name of the Jewish marriage license called ?
A Jewish marriage contract is called a ketubah. It states that the husband commits to provide food, clothing and marital relations to his wife, and that he will pay a specified sum of money if he divorces her. A man can give his wife a "get" if he wants to divorce her.

Reply:It is a ketubah.

After the groom places the ring on the bride's finger the ketubah (marriage contract), is read aloud.

The ketubah shows that marriage is more than a physical and spiritual union; it is a legal and moral commitment as well. The ketubah details the husband's principal obligations to his wife to provide her with food, clothing and affection along with other contractual obligations.

After the ketubah is read, it is handed to the groom who gives it to the bride.
Reply:answer: marriage contract. The license is the one from the state in the US.
