Yes. Fritz Haber was the man who introduced poison-gas warfare into our collective reality. Robert Oppenheimer headed a largely jewish team in creating atomic weaponry,a goal first set in motion by Albert Einstein and Leo Tizard in a meeting with FDR in 1941.
The advent of Nazism is generally ascribed to the bizarre "reparations" scheme that emerged at Versailles in 1919; it was the brainchild of Louis Lucien Klotz,a man later imprisoned for fraud.
The worst case of 20th century genocide was the Holodomar in the Occupied Ukraine in 1933-34,a mass-starvation "Russification" scheme developed and executed by Lazar Kaganovich and his all-jewish team of henchmen; seven million people were deliberately starved to death.
Although we must not neglect the undeniable contribution to humanity of Dr. Jonas Salk, the inventor of the polio vaccine,it should be considered that although it is a great thing to be rid of this scourge of child health,it does not ultimately have enough weight in balance against contributions such as poison gas warfare, atomic warfare and the largest modern case of genocide,to which I will add the emergence of Hitler and his ensuing war, which cost 50 million lives in Europe.
Obviously, the trend since 1945 it to say as little as possible regarding the substance of the larger "contributions" of this most unusual people. All jews are Holodomar deniers; books on Oppenheimer to not dwell on his cultural background; Haber has been erased from history and where biographical sketches may be found at all his invention of chemical warfare is played down or misrepresented and L.L. Klotz is reduced to utter obscurity, although it is unlikely that the rise of Hitler, the Second World War and even the Holocaust would have occurred without him, since his actions set in motion this entire chain of events, all of them most undesirable.
There are many famous and good Jewish people is there anyone bad that gave a bad name to Jews?
I know that there have been jewish spies that stole military secrets from the Americans and sold them to Russians for a couple hundred dollars, also friends with Al Capone and Lucky Luciano, (sorry I can't remember their names), Henry Kissinger was a monster too, that Austrian-born psychopath that kept his incest kids in the basement of his house,
Listen I could go on like for ever. That's not a good question because every nationality has good and bad people.
I could start and write about Norwegian killers and crooks, that doesn't lead anywhere.
I don't like that question. It is out of plain racism so I don't like you as a person.
bye bye
Reply:There are many , many famous %26amp; good Jewish people . People are people though .good %26amp; bad in all . Their faith , ethnicity , or creed does not determine their morality.
That said , i would point out Norman Finkelstien as an example of a good Jewish person. His heart cries out for justice for the oppressesd . He is a shining beacon of goodness that lights up The darkest corners of inhumanity %26amp; exposes them , Read BEYOND CHUTZPAH
An example of a bad Jew would be Dershowitz the Harvad law proffessor . He holds shocking rabid right wing views . He advocates destruction of innocent Palestinian homes , giving them 24 hours to leave before they are bulldozed .
Finkelstien said of him ;
"It is hard to make out any difference between the policy which Dershowitz advocates %26amp; the nazi destruction of lidic ",
Dershowitz is also against the Israeli league of Human rights. ....Why ? because to him , Human rights is a dirty word.
Reply:Hello Mark,
This is your question: "There are many famous and good Jewish people is there anyone bad that gave a bad name to Jews?"
I would say Adolf Hitler gave a bad name to Jewish people. He convinced Germany and many other European countries that eliminating Jewish people is a good thing. As a result, we have many Jewish people today who hide their Judaism, or if they are Satmars (extreme orthodox) who can easily be singled out in a crowd choose to negate Israel so they will appear to be "good obedient Jews." This stems from paralyzing fear and insecurity in case history should ever repeat itself.
Norman Finklstien is another perfect example - his parents lived through the holocaust. Fear is in his veins and that is the reason why, as an adult, he spends all his time criticizing anything having to do with Judaism - from the monies and material properties given back to survivors of the holocaust, to the very existence of Israel. He chooses to do so, not because he really cares about Germans, and Muslims living in Gaza and the West Bank, but because he wants to appear like a "good and obedient Jew." If the American Nazi Party or Islamic extremists should ever decide to murder Jews, Finklstien thinks he will be kept alive for being a "good and obedient Jew."
Those are the people who give Jewish people a bad name. It all stems from fear.
In reference to the answer above. There is no monetary lending establishment in the world, Jewish or otherwise, that becomes lenient to those who are unable to pay off their mortgage. If a loan is unpaid, repossession is to be expected. Recently in the USA, many people have lost their homes to banks and have even gone bankrupt. This does not mean that all American bankers should be exterminated.
Sincerely,
Ms. Miche ; })
Reply:First let me say I have many Jewish friends and they're great people. So when i was in Germany I asked some German friends why there was enough hatred for the Jews during Hitler's time to support his cleansing, and I got an answer that made sense, even though it surely doesn't justify what happened. They said the Germans were really suffering economically and the Jewish minority there was doing relatively well, but were rather exclusive and kept the jobs and money "in the family" i.e., wouldn't hire Germans. Then there were Jewish lenders who showed little mercy when the Germans couldn't make their loan payments, so there were foreclosures, repos, evictions, etc. So then nationalism took over and the idea that here was a minority doing well in their country and wouldn't share with the natives of the country, so, you know the rest....

A Taboo Subject
Although officially Jews have never made up more than five percent of the country's total population, they played a highly disproportionate and probably decisive role in the infant Bolshevik regime, effectively dominating the Soviet government during its early years. Soviet historians, along with most of their colleagues in the West, for decades preferred to ignore this subject. The facts, though, cannot be denied.
With the notable exception of Lenin (Vladimir Ulyanov), most of the leading Communists who took control of Russia in 1917-20 were Jews. Leon Trotsky (Lev Bronstein) headed the Red Army and, for a time, was chief of Soviet foreign affairs. Yakov Sverdlov (Solomon) was both the Bolshevik party's executive secretary and -- as chairman of the Central Executive Committee -- head of the Soviet government. Grigori Zinoviev (Radomyslsky) headed the Communist International (Comintern), the central agency for spreading revolution in foreign countries. Other prominent Jews included press commissar Karl Radek (Sobelsohn), foreign affairs commissar Maxim Litvinov (Wallach), Lev Kamenev (Rosenfeld) and Moisei Uritsky.
Lenin himself was of mostly Russian and Kalmuck ancestry, but he was also one-quarter Jewish. His maternal grandfather, Israel (Alexander) Blank, was a Ukrainian Jew who was later baptized into the Russian Orthodox Church.
A thorough-going internationalist, Lenin viewed ethnic or cultural loyalties with contempt. He had little regard for his own countrymen. "An intelligent Russian," he once remarked, "is almost always a Jew or someone with Jewish blood in his veins."
Here are the main people who formed the Soviet Union's gvoernment including the dreaded Soviet Secret Police:
Contemporary Voices of Warning
Well-informed observers, both inside and outside of Russia, took note at the time of the crucial Jewish role in Bolshevism. Winston Churchill, for one, warned in an article published in the February 8, 1920, issue of the London Illustrated Sunday Herald that Bolshevism is a "worldwide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilization and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality." The eminent British political leader and historian went on to write:
There is no need to exaggerate the part played in the creation of Bolshevism and in the actual bringing about of the Russian Revolution by these international and for the most part atheistical Jews. It is certainly a very great one; it probably outweighs all others. With the notable exception of Lenin, the majority of the leading figures are Jews. Moreover, the principal inspiration and driving power comes from the Jewish leaders. Thus Tchitcherin, a pure Russian, is eclipsed by his nominal subordinate, Litvinoff, and the influence of Russians like Bukharin or Lunacharski cannot be compared with the power of Trotsky, or of Zinovieff, the Dictator of the Red Citadel (Petrograd), or of Krassin or Radek -- all Jews. In the Soviet institutions the predominance of Jews is even more astonishing. And the prominent, if not indeed the principal, part in the system of terrorism applied by the Extraordinary Commissions for Combatting Counter-Revolution [the Cheka] has been taken by Jews, and in some notable cases by Jewesses
A brief overview by American-Jewish Historian Frank Golder about the large amount of Jewish influence in the Soviet government:
As an expression of its radically anti-nationalist character, the fledgling Soviet government issued a decree a few months after taking power that made anti-Semitism a crime in Russia. The new Communist regime thus became the first in the world to severely punish all expressions of anti-Jewish sentiment. Soviet officials apparently regarded such measures as indispensable. Based on careful observation during a lengthy stay in Russia, American-Jewish scholar Frank Golder reported in 1925 that "because so many of the Soviet leaders are Jews anti-Semitism is gaining [in Russia], particularly in the army [and] among the old and new intelligentsia who are being crowded for positions by the sons of Israel."
Here this part shows the huge jewish presence in the Soviet collectives ( a sort of Communist Kibbutz) in which the Ukranian peasants lost their land and had to work for the collective. those who refused were killed by the millions.
Immediately after the [Bolshevik] Revolution, many Jews were euphoric over their high representation in the new government. Lenin's first Politburo was dominated by men of Jewish origins
Under Lenin, Jews became involved in all aspects of the Revolution, including its dirtiest work. Despite the Communists' vows to eradicate anti-Semitism, it spread rapidly after the Revolution -- partly because of the prominence of so many Jews in the Soviet administration, as well as in the traumatic, inhuman Sovietization drives that followed. Historian Salo Baron has noted that an immensely disproportionate number of Jews joined the new Bolshevik secret police, the Cheka And many of those who fell afoul of the Cheka would be shot by Jewish investigators.
The collective leadership that emerged in Lenin's dying days was headed by the Jew Zinoviev, a loquacious, mean-spirited, curly-haired Adonis whose vanity knew no bounds.
"Anyone who had the misfortune to fall into the hands of the Cheka," wrote Jewish historian Leonard Schapiro, "stood a very good chance of finding himself confronted with, and possibly shot by, a Jewish investigator." In Ukraine, "Jews made up nearly 80 percent of the rank-and-file Cheka agents," reports W. Bruce Lincoln, an American professor of Russian history. (Beginning as the Cheka, or Vecheka) the Soviet secret police was later known as the GPU, OGPU, NKVD, MVD and KGB.)
You can read this and much more in the above link which is at the beginning of this answer
I guess that being in the dreaded Soviet Secret police of the ckeka and later known as the KGB might constitute being bad as these people were responsbile for the death of untold amounts of Russians who were arrested and later sent to the infamous and notorious Soviet gulags in Eastern Siberia
80% of the membership of the dreaded Soviet Secret Police were Jewish
Reply:by saying "bad name to jews" you mean anti semitsm
there are good and bad people in every religion, so why dont people dislike them? well the answer is that many people are jealous of the jewish people, because they have always been successful.
"jewish hatred"has existed for centuries, well before the rise of the modern State of Israel. Rather than Israel being the cause of anti-Semitism, it is more likely that the distorted media coverage of Israeli policies is reinforcing latent anti-Semitic views.
As writer Leon Wieseltier observed, “the notion that all Jews are responsible for whatever any Jews do is not a Zionist notion. It is an anti-Semitic notion.” Wieseltier adds that attacks on Jews in Europe have nothing whatsoever to do with Israel. To blame Jews for anti-Semitism is similar to saying blacks are responsible for racism.
Many Jews may disagree with policies of a particular Israeli government, but this does not mean that Israel is bad for the Jews. As Wieseltier noted, “Israel is not bad for the Jews of Russia, who may need a haven; or for the Jews of Argentina, who may need a haven; or for any Jews who may need a haven.”34
As noted in the fact about criticism of Israel, taking issue with Israeli policies is acceptable if you do so because you believe that a) Israel has the right to exist, and b) that changes will make Israel a better place. In fact, such criticism, by Israelis, can be found in the Israeli media every day. Criticism crosses the line, however, when it delegitimizes Israel and is intended to weaken rather than strengthen its institutions.
“Israel is the only state in the world today, and the Jews the only people in the world today, that are the object of a standing set of threats from governmental, religious, and terrorist bodies seeking their destruction. And what is most disturbing is the silence, the indifference, and sometimes even the indulgence, in the face of such genocidal anti-Semitism.”
— Canadian Minister of Justice and Attorney General Irwin Cotler

For such a small race, they have punched hugely above their weight! I'd prefer to concentrate on the positives, though I'm not Jewish myself.
I suppose Judas Iscariot would be an obvious candidate as a "rotten apple". Depending upon your political views, this is not a personal opinion one way or the other, but some might have a particular distaste for Karl Marx.
I won't go on, because I don't want to focus on something which might encourage Arab/Israeli rancour.
Naturally the same courtesy is also extended to the Muslims. In the end, we are all just people. What a shame their are extremists out there. Most people just want a good life, and has always, the few ruin it for the many.
