Is roma a jewish name?

curious

Is roma a jewish name?
Roma is Italian in origin, meaning your family probably originated from Rome since it literally means "of Rome."

You can't really trace Jewish ancestry by your last name - sorry to tell ya. The third most common name among Jews in the US is actually Miller. The only last names that are specifically Jewish are Cohen, Levy and Israel.
Reply:im sorry but your not jewish......stranger whom i've never met in my entire life Report Abuse

Reply:A name does not necessarily have any religion. For example, the name Caldwell might be Catholic or Baptist.

There is not a yes/ no answer for your question. Someone named Roma can be any religion. You asked this question already... are you getting the answers?
Reply:No.................sounds European
